To mirror the rapid modernisation, technological integration, and cultural shifts within Irish commerce, our 2026 awards framework introduces significant structural improvements. While the total number of categories remains highly competitive at 23, we have retired the legacy printing sector award and consolidated our healthcare streams into powerful, unified fields.
Here are the key new and enhanced categories for this year:
Workforce Upskilling & FET Excellence Award: Business leaders investing in upskilling their team
Construction, Property & Trades Family Business of the Year: General contractors, specialised subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, roofing), civil engineering, groundworks, estate agencies, and premium home improvement firms.
Family Healthcare, Pharmacy, and Wellbeing Business of the Year: Clinical care, nursing, homecare, dental, and community pharmacy.
Family Business Employer of the Year: Excellence in health and wellbeing, ongoing professional development, high staff retention, and the seamless integration of non-family executives.
Digital Marketing & Client Communication Excellence: Utilise advanced digital channels; including social media, video, user-friendly websites, and targeted newsletters, to scale brand equity and revenue.
How to Enter:
Companies looking to participate in the Awards must complete an online entry form, which will then be reviewed and evaluated by an independent panel of esteemed industry judges. Submitting an entry is completely free of charge, with 23 competitive categories covering every major sector of the family enterprise economy.
The winners will be revealed and celebrated at a spectacular gala ceremony hosted at The Johnstown Estate, Enfield, Co. Meath on Thursday, November 5th, 2026. This premier gathering is a standout highlight of the business calendar, offering an unforgettable evening of national recognition, networking, and celebration.
